Osteopathic Manual Therapist

Colby Fox

Colby has lived most of her life in the Calgary and Okotoks area, where she enjoys reading, running with her dog, and spending time at the park with her kids. Colby feels deeply grateful to have found a career that aligns so naturally with her passion for helping others. Her work in Osteopathy feels less like a job and more like a calling—an opportunity to support the body’s innate ability to heal and find balance. She approaches each session with curiosity and an open mind, listening closely to the body’s cues to create thoughtful, effective treatments. Colby’s goal is not only to reduce pain and dysfunction but also to help each client’s body adapt and regulate with greater ease and resilience. After completing her Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2014, Colby earned an advanced certificate in Athletic Therapy, working with athletes in both clinical and field settings. This experience became the foundation for her osteopathic journey, which she deepened through a five-year program at the Canadian College of Osteopathy, completed in 2021. She continues to expand her skills through advanced training, always guided by curiosity and respect for the body’s natural wisdom.

What Is Osteopathy?

  • Osteopathic Manual Therapists identify and assess the body using osteopathic palpation, a very sensitive touch that assesses the body's structures and rhythms. The treatment is performed using the hands to treat imbalances within a patient’s muscles, organs, bones, joints, ligaments, or connective tissue. The goal is to restore proper structure and function and promote healing from within. This hands-on therapy uses different techniques such as soft tissue manipulation to improve circulation and repair improper biomechanics. Osteopathic Manual Therapy is taking anatomical knowledge and the science of how the body functions and turning it in an art form. Even two people dealing with the same symptoms will have a different way in how their body got to that point and will compensate differently. The therapist needs to assess and discern the best approach for that person on that day. Using their extensive knowledge base, the therapist will use their palpatory skills and a variety of tools such as craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, myofascial release or joint mobilization to name a few in order to direct the body towards a better state of health.

Homeopath

Erin Richer

Erin is a mom, wife, and dedicated Homeopath whose journey with homeopathy began four years ago when her young child became seriously ill. At just three years old, her son was diagnosed with PANS, Lyme disease with co-infections, and severe ASD. After years of pursuing allopathic treatments, out-of-country interventions, and diet changes, Erin was introduced to homeopathy—and everything shifted. The sustained improvements in her son’s health not only gave her family their lives back but also inspired Erin to dedicate herself to learning this powerful medicine to support other families. She went on to graduate from the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine in Toronto, Canada, and now works with families both locally and internationally.

What is Homeopathy?

  • Homeopathy is a system of medicine over 230 years old, still used the same today. It uses the principle "like cures like". Whereas, what the medicine can create in a healthy person it can cure in the sick. As a Homeopath I see your symptoms as the body's way to try and correct the imbalance, or "dis-ease" within and use these symptoms to find the medicine that matches your unique expression of such disease. Homeopathic medicines stimulate your bodies own immune system to return to balance.

  • What can Homeopathy treat?

    • Not only can Homeopathy help with complex children but it is very useful for womans health, pregnancy, acute colds and flu, mental health disorders and more.

Reiker Healer

Alyssa Goldstone

Alyssa is the founder of InnerBliss Reiki Services, where her goal is to help you Relax. Realign. Reshine. When you come in for your appointment, we will begin by discussing any questions you may have. Together, we’ll talk about any areas of pain, discomfort, or specific parts of the body you’d like me to focus on. You will then be invited to lie down fully clothed on a comfortable massage bed. The room is softly lit, with relaxing music playing to create a calming, stress-free atmosphere. Once you are settled, I will begin performing Reiki—placing my hands lightly on or just above your body to help encourage balance and relaxation. Each session is unique, and your experience may vary—some people feel warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation, while others may simply feel more peaceful and refreshed afterward. No matter what you experience, Reiki is always working for your highest benefit.

 What is Reiki?

Reiki is a holistic healing practice that works with the body’s natural energy system to promote balance, relaxation, and overall well-being. The word “Reiki” comes from Japanese, meaning “universal life energy.” It is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that supports the body, mind, and spirit.

 The Energy Side
Reiki focuses on the flow of life force energy that runs through all living beings. When this energy is unbalanced, it can manifest as stress, tension, or discomfort. Reiki helps balance your chakras, allowing energy to move freely and restoring harmony within the body.

 The Spiritual Side
On a deeper level, Reiki encourages inner peace and connection. Many clients experience a sense of clarity, grounding, and heightened awareness during or after a session. While it is not tied to any religion, Reiki can complement spiritual growth and self-discovery, helping you feel more aligned and centered.

 The Scientific Side
Research suggests Reiki can activate the body’s relaxation response, which reduces stress hormones, lowers blood pressure, and improves overall well-being. Studies have shown benefits in areas such as stress management, sleep quality, pain relief, and emotional balance. Reiki works alongside traditional healthcare, offering a safe and supportive approach to wellness.
